First Presbyterian Church has become a host site for Angel Food Ministries. This is a nationwide ministry that allows you to purchase a lot of food for a small amount of money. It is open to anyone in the community regardless of your economic situation. Each signature box is designed to feed a family of 4 for about a week or a single person for about a month and costs $30. In addition, there are several ‘special’ boxes you can purchase. In these tough economic times this is a great way to stretch your paycheck and supplement your grocery bill.

Ordering is easy. All you have to do is drop by the church, place your order, pay for your order, and leave us with a valid phone number.  You can also order online through Angelfoodministries.com but there is a $2.00 convenience charge.

Who qualifies?
-Everyone, there are no applications or qualifications to order

Are There Income Requirements To Order?
-No, it is open to anyone

Is There Any Obligation Associated With Ordering?
-No, you place your orders on a month to month basis

What Payments Are Accepted?
-We accept cash and Food Stamps. Credit card orders can be place online at Angelfoodministries.com, but there is a two dollar surcharge.

Can we receive more than one unit or special?
-Yes, you can order as many of each unit as you would like.

Are You Able To Substitute Items?
-No

What If I Can’t Make Pick Up?
-You can send someone else as long as they have your receipt

Where does the food come from?
-Our food is “restaurant grade” meats, frozen vegetables, fruits, dairy products, etc. which we acquire through our involvement with only the best producers/vendors of high quality, “name brand” foods. Never “seconds” or “day old” type products are involved.

Is The Food Second Hand or Damaged?
-The food is high quality just like you would find in the grocery store. There are no second hand items, no damaged items, no out of date items, no dented cans, and no day old bread.
